Library will be offering a two-part course focusing on basic grammar skills and
basic resume writing instruction. This
course also features an optional third session where participants may bring a
sample resume to review with the instructor. Session
One: Tuesday, May 5 Session
Two: Tuesday, May 12 6:30pm Phillip
Contic, former costume designer/lecturer at Brown University, will conduct a 3
part fashion illustration workshop at Hope Library on June 2, 9, & 16 at
6:30pm. Learn techniques to easily
draw and render fabrics, design with color, and explore sketching, collage and
color mediums. Participants can
choose their own medium using pastels, chalks, or watercolors.
A supply list will be furnished during the first class.
Please note this class is for adult students only.

prior illustration experience necessary. Calling All Crafters! Hope
Library will hold its annual Spring Craft / Yard Sale on Saturday, May 9th,
from 9-2pm, rain or shine. Table
space is available for $25. Visit us
for a selection of craft items and gifts, just in time for Mother’s Day.
Hope Library will be selling books and Hope Library tote bags.
Face-painting, games, balloon animals, snacks and more will be available.
