RUBBISH REMOVAL INFORMATION
Notice
Effective July 1, 2009 mattresses, box springs or any furniture with a mattress in it will no longer be picked up by our rubbish collector. There will be a dumpster at the Scituate Dept. of Public Works available for drop off of these items, or they can be dropped off at R.I. Resource Recovery.

| The Town of Scituate will be accepting "leaf and yard
debris" at the Department of Public Works Complex, Trimtown Road,
North Scituate on the following dates and times: Monday thru Friday 7 am to3:30 pm Saturday 9:30 am to 12:00 noon Leaf and yard debris will be defined as: brush and branches - less than 2" in diameter, leaves, twigs and grass clippings. Debris must not include any plastic bags.

The residents of Scituate can now recycle these items at Scituate Public Works, 1 Lincoln Circle There are 2 pods to recycle items: (1) COMPUTER EQUIPMENT & ELECTRONICS equipment and electronics to include the following: CPUs/computers, servers, keyboards, spare computer parts, laptops, network equipment, mouse pointers, laser printers, printer cartridges, routers, radios, scanners, fax machines, car stereos, cables and wires, aluminum, copper, cell phones, window unit air conditioners and telephones will be accepted at no charge. (2) TELEVISIONS AND COMPUTER MONITORS NO WHITE GOODS or OTHER HAZARDOUS WASTE ACCEPTED!
