2009/2010 Dog License Renewals will be going out in March 2009 and are renewable by mail with proof of current rabies vaccination

Renewal and New Dog Licenses require proof of current rabies vaccination.  The cost is $10.00 per dog, with a $2 late fee assessed after July 1, 2009 on renewals

Built in the 1970's, the Scituate Dog Pound is located on George Washington Highway in Clayville near the Scituate/Foster line.

     The pound can accommodate ten (10) dogs and fifteen (15) cats at one time. Over one hundred (100) dogs and even more cats find temporary shelter there every year. The regular hours the pound is open are 7am to 11am, Monday thru Friday. Afternoon, evening and week-end hours are usually by appointment.
